Rules governing use of the National Profile Registry.
By registering or using NPR, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Acceptable Use
- Provide accurate information and genuine documents
- Use the platform only for lawful verification purposes
- Respect user consent — do not attempt to bypass access controls
- Do not scrape, bulk download, or misuse the API
- Do not use biometric features as a public face-search tool
Organisation Obligations
Registered organisations must state a lawful purpose for each access request, comply with their package field permissions, maintain accurate institutional notes with evidence, and submit to audit and compliance review.
Individual Obligations
Individuals must not create duplicate accounts, upload forged documents, or impersonate others. Duplicate detection systems may flag and suspend related accounts.
Service Availability
NPR is provided on a best-effort basis. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated where possible. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Limitation of Liability
NPR facilitates consent-based data exchange. Institutions remain responsible for their own compliance decisions. NPR does not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted data but provides verification status indicators.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
